And The Winner Is...
You know that your company, and the products that you make, is at the top of the industry when you win prestigious awards. Browning recently won a very prestigious award for the X-Bolt, and is proud to accept the 2009 Rifle of the Year Award from American Rifleman.
The NRA Bullseye Awards
Each year, the NRA Publications have a prestigious series of awards called the Golden Bullseye Awards and the Golden Bullseye Pioner Award. They have an invitation-only reception during their NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits and honor the winners.
They explain that the Golden Bullseye Award honors companies who bring remarkable equipment to the market that help shooters and hunters to perfect their skill. The award is in its seventh year and has become a symbol of innovation and outstanding craftsmanship.
The Golden Bullseye Pioneer Award
The Golden Bullseye Pioner Award specifically honors individual achievement. Each year, this award tries to isolate one family or team that has made a large and enduring impact on the way that Americans use their weapons and are able to shoot.
Browning Wins
As part of these awards, Browning has won the "Rifle of the Year" award from American Rifleman magazine. This magazine is the NRA's 123 year old first publication and is a highly prestigious publication. Simply being nominated for this award is a big honor, and to win is incredibly more so. American Rifleman's editorial staff is notorious for having an in-depth knowledge of firearms and a critical eye for new products and innovations in firearms.
X-Bolt Background
The X-Bolt was just introduced by Browning one year ago. This firearm has been tested a great deal by the members of the NRA Publications staff. The competition for this award was quite stiff, adding to the prestige for Browning as the winners.
Browning is thrilled to have this title next to its X-Bolt and encourages consumers to see why it was just named "Rifle of the Year" and why it is such a great product!
